Who runs this site

Trailhead Growth Consulting is a one-person practice — Will Yandell, based in Centerport, New York. When this notice says “I,” that's who you're dealing with. Questions about any of this go straight to me: will@trailheadgrowthconsulting.com.

What I collect

When you reach out. If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email, an optional phone number, the topic you pick, and whatever you write in your message. If you text or call the number on the site, I'll have your phone number and whatever you share. I only get this because you chose to send it.

Automatically, as you browse. Like most websites, this one measures basic usage through Google Analytics — which pages get visited, roughly where visitors are (city-level), what device and browser they use, and how they found the site. This is aggregate traffic data, not an attempt to identify you personally.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and understand how the site is used. If you'd rather not be measured, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works fine either way.

How I use it

Two reasons, both simple: to reply to you and do the work you came for, and to understand what's useful on the site so I can make it better. I don't use your information to advertise to you, and I don't build profiles to sell.

Who else sees it

A few trusted services help run this site, and your information passes through them only so they can do their job:

• Formspree — delivers contact-form messages to my inbox.
• Google — Analytics (site measurement) and Google Voice (the text/call line).
• Netlify — hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.

Each has its own privacy policy. Beyond these, I don't share your information with anyone — and I never sell or rent it.

How long I keep it

Messages and inquiries: as long as I need them to respond and, if we end up working together, for normal business records. Analytics data follows Google's standard retention settings. If you'd like me to delete what I have from you, just ask.

Young people

First Tracks works with people ages 17 and up. This site isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you're a teenager exploring your options here, I'd encourage you to loop in a parent or guardian — that's a good idea regardless of privacy.

Your choices

You can ask to see what information I have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email will@trailheadgrowthconsulting.com and I'll take care of it.

Changes to this notice

If I change how any of this works, I'll update this page and the date at the top. For anything significant, the change applies going forward, not retroactively.
